Hello Friends at Connections!

We had a great time at our Friend's Day Potluck Gathering last saturday night.   We played the popular pictionary game and have tons of fun.  Also, we had Steve join our gathering for the very first time last saturday.  Anyhow, our next Friend's day potluck gathering will be on Sunday June 3rd at Rafat's place begin @ 1pm: 5743 Baldwin Ave Temple City CA 91780.  Please contact Rafat 626-551-9824 if you have any question.

Also, the So Cal Singles Retreat is just around the corner.  Let's enjoy a great weekend in the mountains with Christian Singles from all over Southern California!
Free Christian Singles dance the following weekend for all who attend!   Singles from over 30 different churches (inter and non denominational) will be attending!
This is the 4th annual So Cal Singles Retreat...very nice facilities, wonderful staff, and outstanding dining has brought us back again!

A friendly reminder our combine Sunday worship service will begin on June 3rd at 10:30am.  This mean our Sunday Connection Bible Study will start at 9am in Rm 201.  College and Young Adults will start at 9:15am in Rm 208. 
By the way, I will be out of the country for 21/2 weeks.  Please pray for my travel and lecture time in Tokyo and Taiwan.   Our very own Raquel, Dave, Micah, Christopher and Stanley will share their spiritual journey with us during my absence on sunday.   Come and support them!

Good Morning Friends at Connections!

 

Just a friendly reminder that our monthly Friend's Day Potluck Gathering is on this Saturday at 6pm.  This time we will be meeting at my place:  1417 S Marguerita ave #5 Alhambra CA 91803.  We will have some mixing games and fellowship after dinner. 

 

Also, the College and Young Adults have begin a new bible study on Genesis.  So come and learn about the creation and history of humanity with Tom on Friday!

We will be wrapping up the LET GO series this sunday.  I pray that God will enable us to overcome our past, fear, bitterness, resentment and guilt.   These can effect our emotion, health and is destructive to our relationally as well.

Greetings Friends at Connections!

We had a fantastic time of doing picnic, fellowship and bike riding at our Friend's Day Gathering in Newport Beach last Saturday.  It was great seeing many of you and missed those who couldn't make it.  Well I hope you can come to our next Friend's Day Gathering later this month. 

 

On a different note, Summer is coming up.  This mean the So Cal Singles Retreat is just around the corner.  We have started to promote the SCSR last sunday.  You can see the flyer for more information in the attachement.   If you haven't register yet you can do that online.  So put it in your calendar and join 300+ Christian Singles from all over Southern California!
