At our last meeting, we all had a taste of how to be a good listener from Pastor Dave Gibbons especially when it comes to listening God's voice. This week we will continue the "40 Days in the Word" series with one of my favorite Bible teacher Pastor John Ortberg from Menlo Park Preysbyterian church in Menlo Park, CA. Please read this week devotional passage John 15:7 and learn from Pastor John Ortberg and share your thoughts in your small group.
Just a friendly reminder for those who signed up for Camping and River Rafting Adventure, it's finally here this weekend! We will leave promptly @ 7am at church parking lot.

The "40 Days in the Word" study series will continue this Sunday @ 9am as we look at the Bible is the God inspired book. Please read this week devotional passage Matthew 13:3-23 and learn from Pastor Dave Gibbons and share your thoughts in your small group.

Also, we are only 2 weeks away(July 28th-29th) for the Camping and adventure on the Kern River with PFB. We only have 4 spots left for Camping & River Rafting. Here is the cost for camping, Mtn Biking & Rafting.

Hello Friends at Connections!

I hope you had a great Independent's Day yesterday. We watched the fireworks at Almansor Park after the potluck dinner and light some of our own at FBCA parkinglot last night.

The "40 Days in the Word" study series will continue this Sunday @ 9am. We will be discussing the Scientific evidence showing the Bible is a God Breathed Book. Please read this week devotional passage: Colossian 3:12-16 & I Corinthians 10:11 and be ready to share at your small group. That being said, would you join us as we go deeper in God's word this Sunday?  

Register today with FBCA for a weekend(July 28th-29th) of Camping and adventure on the Kern River. We will join PFB again this year. Space is limited for the first 16 Single Adults Only.
