We will continue our series The Story this Sunday! For those who are new to The Story, its an unique, brief and easy format to highlight the entire Bible. The Bible is filled with exciting and intense stories of love, war, birth, death and miracles. There's poetry, culture, and history and theology. Also, what I love reading the Bible is that it offers a glimpse of people in a different time and place who are yet very much like us today! Let's encourage each other to follow Jesus in every area of our life begin this Sunday. The Godly inspiration start at 9am in room#208.

Also, it's the first Sunday of the month. This mean our monthly Ministry board meeting is on this Sunday after service in room #103. Like I said before this meeting is open to all members. Your comments and ideas are very welcome. Let's continue to live and serve beyond ourselves for Jesus!

By the way, the Sunday Basketball outreach and College Bible Study Group leadership team have decided to take a summer break begin on June 1st this Sunday. We will let you know the start up date once we near Fall season.

Good Morning Connections members, Leaders and friends,

I am back safely from Mexico feeling recharged, refreshed and renewed again. Thanks for all your prayer. I have learned so much this past weekend. Sometime God invite us to do something or go somewhere. We just needed to trust God and accept his invitation. Once you go through the process you will soon see the signs of prosperity in your life. Trust God, He know what's best for you. If you are interested to see what we did last weekend in Tecate Mexico, you can watch this short video.

Well enough saying about trip to Mexco, big reminder to all the guys,"Mother's Day" is coming tomorrow, May 11th. I don't think there's anything moms would love more than to attend church as a family. We're going to have a special day planned during the worship service begin at 10:30am, including a special treat and honor for all mothers and women to receive a gift certificate from Fosselman ice cream.

Also, don't forget to join us for The Story this Sunday as we look at the Book of Samuel. The fun begin at 9am in room#208.

By the way, since it's mother's day tomorrow all afternoon gatherings(Basketball & College Bible study, Connections Bible Study? it's up to you Tom) will be cancelled. So you guys have a chance to take moms out for dinner.

Hello Connections members, Leaders and friends,

CMTA is happening now at Pasadena Convention Center http://www.cmtaconvention.org/index.htm If you haven't sign up and still want to go you can check with Pastor Mike. We may still have some name tags available for you to use for this afternoon or tomorrow.

Also, join us for Bible study this Sunday as our very own Alex Liao is going to share with us his journey with Christ. The fun begin at 9am in room#208. By the way, we have prepared a farewell card for Pastor Lee as he will be officially retired this Sunday. The card will be passing around during class hour for you to sign. Please give it to Maizie Tam after you finish signing the card.

By the way, keep me and the group(15 of us from International Rotary http://www.district5300.org/ ) in your prayer as I am crossing the border to Mexico for a service project(building 4 houses) at 6am tomorrow. I won't be back till Monday night.
