Connection Weekly Newz
Dear Friends at Connections!
What a joy to know six people will be baptizing during the first which four of them are single adults attending at our church this Sunday. So let us celebrate and welcome them to our family.
Let me know if you are interested to become a member through baptism. Also, there will be a special concert presented by California Baptist University Women Choir this Sunday night @ 6pm. So you don't want to miss this opportunity for great music.
By the way, there will be no Crossroad bible study this Friday.

Dear Friends at Connections!
We had a great turn out at the Superbowl party last Sunday. Pastor Josh and his youth groups had joined us as we watched the NY Giant incredible came from behind victory over the Patriots.
Once again, my email account has been hacked into earlier this morning. I just changed my password. I hope it won't happened again.
By the way, Dave Kornoff has invited all of us to his new place for a potluck party this Sunday. We will meet for carpool after second service at the parkinglot. For more information please contact Dave @ 661-916-9999

Connection Newz: College & Single Adults Gathering this Friday @ 7pm & Superbowl Party @ 3pm this Sunday

Just want to remind you that we will be hosting the Super Sunday Party this Sunday @ 3pm. So join us for our Annual Superbowl XLVI Party.
By the way, please make a note that we have changed the Annual Winter Retreat till March 2nd through 4th . Please pray for good health for everyone who are going this year.

Join us for a fun afternoon as we watch the football game and fellowship with one another. Drinks, snacks and hot dogs will be provided.

This is a community outreach program geared towards adults who are interested to play basketball. A typical afternoon involves five on five basketball, prayer and fellowship. We seek to reach out to men in our community.

This is an alternative Christian worship gathering that is geared towards college students & adults in their twenties. A typical evening involves intimate music worship, prayer, inspiring conversation on what it means to follow Jesus in this generation. We seek a life of faith that engages our minds, souls, and culture.
Location: FLC Rm 205 & Volleyball in Family Life Center
Time: Every Friday night, 7pm.

This fellowship gathering is for single adults(30 years and older) where they can connected with God and build and nurture friendships with each other. We will have Bible study, activities and special workshops.
