Hello Friends at Connections!

We will begin a new Apologetic study series called "40 Days in the Word" this Sunday @ 9am. This is the most anticipating study series happening in the Christian world today. We will talk about "Why can I trust the Bible" this Sunday by discussing some of the accusations made against the Bible and then giving you evidences that this book is a God breathe book( II Timothy 3:16-17). So I encourage you to plug in to a Bible Study group as we go deeper in God's word this Sunday?

Also, 4th of July celebration is coming up. We will be having BBQ and potluck at the patio at 6pm. Please bring your favorite dish to share(Minimum of 5) and fellowship with other FBCA friends. A suggested donation of $5.00 if you can't bring any food.  
 

Register today with FBCA for a weekend(July 28th-29th) of camping and adventure on the Kern River. We will join PFB again this year. Space is limited for the first 16 Single Adults Only. Cost $49 for camping, meals and transportation only. A $30 non-refundable deposit will reserves your spot. Deadline for registration will be on Sunday July 15th. Cost for Mtn Biking & Rafting TBA. Just a friendly reminder that the So Cal Singles Retreat is this weekend.  Please pray for the speakers, leaders and the whole retreat.

Good Morning Friends at Connections

I am finally back after almost three weeks of both lecturing and vacation in Taiwan.  It's really nice to be back home in Los Angles.  Thank you Tom, Stanley, Christopher, Raquel, Micah and the rest of the leadership teams for stepping up to the plate while I was away and Thank you for your prayer.  I truly missed all of you. 

I pray as your summer gets underway with vacations, retreats, beach trips and barbecues, that your family and friends will be drawn closer together and to God, and that you'll stay connected spiritually with him and with your Connections community.

Just a friendly reminder that the So Cal Singles Retreat is coming up next weekend . Let's enjoy a great weekend in the mountains with Christian Singles from all over Southern California!
Free Christian Singles dance the following weekend for all who attend! Singles from over 30 different churches (inter and non denominational) will be attending!
This is the 4th annual So Cal Singles Retreat...very nice facilities, wonderful staff, and outstanding dining has brought us back again!
