Hello Connections members, Leaders and friends,

Thank you for your prayer, I had a great time playing and resting with eleven of you at Lake Arrowhead last weekend. We know so much about one another by doing lives together of course thanks for your tolerance on my snoring problem haha. Also my thanks goes to brother Alex Liao for leading us with the Bible study while we were gone last Sunday.

Again, We are back with THE STORY this Sunday as we study and follow the main character in the Bible. We will look at the story of Moses and see how God delivered His people from the Egyptian in the book of Exodus. The Godly connections begin at 9am this Sunday in Flc# 208. A famous novelist George Sand once said "There is only one happiness: to love and be loved" I hope you all had a great Valentine's day.

Although I won't be with you all this Sunday as I will be headed to Lake Arrowhead for our Winter retreat but our very own brother Alex Liao will be leading us with the Bible study. Again, the Godly connections begin at 9am this Sunday in Flc# 208. Please come to support him. Also, it's 3rd sunday of the month so it's our turn to clean up after refreshment hour this Sunday. So don't forget to meet at about 10:20am to clean up at the patio this Sunday.

We had a great turn out at Sunday school last week. 12 of you showed up wanting to get deeper connections with God through the story of Abraham. This week we will continue The Story in studying the life of Joseph in Genesis 37-50. We will learn how Joseph start from a slave to become deputy of Pharaoh. The Godly connections begin at 9am this Sunday in Flc# 208.

We will spend our President's day weekend Feb 15th-17th up at a beautiful two story cabin surrounded by trees at Twin Peak CA. Hello Connections members, Leaders and friends,

We had a blast celebrating Lunar New Year with all our members and friends last Sunday. We begin the celebrating with delicious dumplings, food, and fellowship at Sophia's home at noon then we ended with a great hotpot gathering in the evening at Melina's place. Again, my thanks goes to Sophia and Melina for their willing heart to host the party for all of us. Also, we had a fun work out at our Volleyball gathering last Saturday. I enjoyed playing, fellowship and eating burritos prepared by Maizie's friend. Again, thanks Maizie for running this great outreach gathering.

Also, we will continue The Story tomorrow morning. Let's be inspired by the Holy Spirit in reading God's Word. we will learn how to walk by Faith in reading Abraham's story at 9am tomorrow in Rm# 208.

By the way it's the first Sunday of the month. This mean that we will be having our monthly ministry board meeting tomorrow after service in room #103. I am glad to see people joining left and right and excited about the potential members for our ministry. That being said, it's important as leaders to envision and build stability and growth for the future. One business that I will like to introduce in our meeting is the role of each board position and the nominating process. I think this ministry board can lead and direct our ministry. I also see it can be a driving force in our Singles community. Of course the growth depend on each one of us. This is open to all members. Your comments and ideas are very welcome. Let's continue to live and serve beyond ourselves for Jesus!
