Greetings Friends at Connections!

We had a wonderful experience with the Master Pageant show and Friend's Day potluck gathering last sunday.  There are many events happenning on this weekend as well. 

 

FRIDAY: Crossroad will continue the book study "Seven Reasons Why You Can Trust the Bible" at 7pm in Rm 209. College & Young Adults will be studying the "Book of Isaiah" at 7pm in room 205 & Family Life Center for Volleyball at 8pm. Join us as we learn about Bible and how to be the person God intended us to be.

SATURDAY: Come and join other Brothers and Sisters as we will clean our beautiful campus this Saturday. The church work day will start from 8am through 12pm. Lunch will be provided.

SUNDAY: Alhambra First Baptist Choir will be presenting a special musical at both service this Sunday. So don't forget to bring a friend to attend this concert.

New series "Mr. And Ms Right" with James @ 9:15am for College & 20 somethings meet in Conference room AND Single Adults 30s and up will meet @ 10:45am in RM 201. Would you join me and friends at FBCA this Sunday for Bible study?

Just a friendly reminder to you leaders that our monthly Team Meeting is on this Friday at about 8:15pm in Conference room.

Hope everyone had a wonderful St.Patrick's Day weekend.  We have many events happening this weekend!

 

Crossroad will be presenting a documentary film call "180 degree" at FLC 209 this friday.  This 33 minutes film will rock your world.  So bring a friend to watch this award winning film friday night @ 7pm. 

 

Also, we will be having our monthly Friend's Day monthly potluck at almansor park this sunday at 1pm.  I want to see many new faces this sunday at the park.  By the way, your guests don't need to bring a dish to share.

Just a quick reminder that the new series "Mr. And Ms Right" will continue this Sunday.  This week, we will discuss how to become a better man and a better woman that will give you an instant attraction.  This is a fun and interactive series.  So come and learn about the opposite sex and What God want in our relationship.

Dear Friends at Connections!

Our annual winter retreat at big bear last weekend was a great success again.  We all had an incredible time.  You can tell by looking at our pictures in our blog.   Thank you leadership teams and all of you that attended this year's retreat. 

We will start a new series call "Mr. And Ms Right" this Sunday.  This is a fun and interactive series.  We will discuss about what man want in a woman or what woman prefer in a man.  So come and learn about the opposite sex.

Dear Friends at Connections!

We had a great leadership team meeting last Friday as we have initiated a new monthly potluck event call "Friends Day".  The intention is simple.  Bring a new friend.  We will be meeting in home or any public places such as local parks for our monthly gathering.  If you are interested to be a host please talk to Raquel Marquez or Dave Kornoff. 

Also, The weather will be nice up at big bear for our Annual Winter Retreat this weekend.  Please meet at church parking lot this Friday at 5pm for loading food, drinks and your personal items.  We are leaving promptly @ 5:30pm.  The cabin has provided us blankets, pillow and towels so you don't need to bring it.  Just bring a warm jacket and change of clothing for 3 days.  Pray for good health and travel mercy  as we are heading up this friday night. 

By the way, NO Crossroad bible study this Friday night.
