Just a reminder that we will be having our monthly Single adults ministry team meeting after service in room 208 this Sunday. I am excited about the events and activities that are ahead of us. This is an open meeting to all members. We are welcome to hear your thoughts and ideas with us.

Join us at Aquarium of Pacific in Long Beach tomorrow night from 7pm-9pm. This is an opportunity for you to get up close to see large shark and fellowship with other College and Young Adults. We will continue our discussion on the survey of Jesus life and ministry this Sunday. Join us as we look at the discipleship model of Jesus. How this model can be relevant to our daily lives.

Just a reminder that it's our turn to clean up after coffee/refreshment hour this Sunday. Meet in the front patio at about 10:20am.

We had a great time eating, fellowship and meeting new/old friends at Rafa's house last Sunday after church. Again my thank to Rafa for her willingness to fix lunch and open up her place to hang out for all of us. The food was delicious. I don't mind to gain a few pounds after that meal do you?lol. Also I would like to thank everyone for sharing their ideas for Single event as well. As I said before this is our ministry. We welcome everyone's ideas and comments about Connections. Here are some social events we are planning for all Single Adults this summer and fall. We will be going to beaches in LA/OC, Magic Mountain, Huntington Library, museums, hiking, camping, more game night, and social outings.

This lead to our next Single Adults leadership meeting which will not be this Sunday(It's Mother's Day!) but on May 26th after church to finalize and carry out everyone's wishes. So leaders we have plenty of time to think, gather information and set up dates for the above events. Also think about some ideas and candidates for starting a small/interest group for college, young professionals and single adults. Again all members are welcome to participate and voice their opinions at our team meeting.

By the way, College and Young Adults (Age 18-30s) you are not forgotten. Our next events will be Shark Lagoon Night at Aquarium of Pacific at Long Beach on Friday the 17th at 7pm. It's an opportunity for you to get up close to see large shark for free. So don't forget to put it down on your calendar. This is a great event for you to bring a friend! My Fellow Connections Members and Friends

We all had a super fun time trying to figure out each other minds at our Game Night last Saturday. I will like to congratulate our lucky winner Jerry who's aggressive style of playing had help him to secure the victory therefore receiving the price of a pair AMC movie tickets. We certainly will do it again soon!

Again, we will continue our series on the Story of Jesus this Sunday. We will be discussing the early ministry of Jesus. So join us as we talk about the Journey of our Lord Savior. 

Don't forget we have a lot of great events and programs lined up so make sure to take a look at the bottom of this email as information is always changing. Hope everyone is having a good week thus far and hope to see you all on Sunday!
