Dear Friends at Connections!
What a joy to know six people will be baptizing during the first which four of them are single adults attending at our church this Sunday. So let us celebrate and welcome them to our family.
Let me know if you are interested to become a member through baptism. Also, there will be a special concert presented by California Baptist University Women Choir this Sunday night @ 6pm. So you don't want to miss this opportunity for great music.
By the way, there will be no Crossroad bible study this Friday.

We had a great turn out at the Superbowl party last Sunday. Pastor Josh and his youth groups had joined us as we watched the NY Giant incredible came from behind victory over the Patriots.
Once again, my email account has been hacked into earlier this morning. I just changed my password. I hope it won't happened again.
By the way, Dave Kornoff has invited all of us to his new place for a potluck party this Sunday. We will meet for carpool after second service at the parkinglot. For more information please contact Dave @ 661-916-9999

Just want to remind you that we will be hosting the Super Sunday Party this Sunday @ 3pm. So join us for our Annual Superbowl XLVI Party.
By the way, please make a note that we have changed the Annual Winter Retreat till March 2nd through 4th . Please pray for good health for everyone who are going this year.

This is an alternative Christian worship gathering that is geared towards college students & adults in their twenties. We seek a life of faith that engages our minds, souls, and culture.

Happy Lunar New Year again. I pray that you will receive new hope, new strength and new blessing in the year of the Dragon. Anyhow we had a great time celebrating Lunar new year last Sunday with the College group. Let's continue to pray, love and encourage them when you see them in church.
Also, The Single Winter Camp 2012 registration is close . We have twelve people sign up to Big bear next month. Please pray for good health for each person as well.

Connection Newz: Super Sunday Party & Winter Camp 2012!!!

How's your week so far? I hope you have a good start in 2012. Just to remind you that we will be hosting the Super Sunday Party on Feb 5th. So join us for our Annual Superbowl XLVI Party. For more information please check the email below.
Also, The Single Winter Camp 2012 registration is on . This is one of our biggest outing event of the year. The cost will only be $100 per person You can make a $50.00(Non-refundable) deposit first and pay the rest later. You can make payment in Cash or check payable to "First Baptist Church of Alhambra" for single camp. The deadline for registration is this coming Sunday January 22nd. The space is limited so hurry before it's too late.

This is an alternative Christian worship gathering that is geared towards college students & adults in their twenties. A typical evening involves intimate music worship, prayer, inspiring conversation on what it means to follow Jesus in this generation. We seek a life of faith that engages our minds, souls, and culture.
Location: FBCA Youth building 3rd floor & Volleyball in Family Life Center

This fellowship gathering is for single adults(30 years and older) where they can connected with God and build and nurture friendships with each other. We will have Bible study, activities and special workshops.

We had a great time celebrating the birth of Lord Jesus last Friday at Raquel's place. You can see how much fun we had at our annual Christmas party.
