I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July BBQ gathering at the church patio last friday. Again, we had a great participation and interesting discovery at theMinistry board meeting last Sunday. We took about half of our meeting to complete the survey. Here is what we have in our group- you ready for this? an evangelist (Stanley), a prophet/mind reader (Kruez), two more pastors(Maizie and Richard), and three compassionate servant (Imelda,Frank and Denny). This is amazing! a special group of people who can make a different in our world for Jesus! Friends, it's not too late to discover your God's potential gift in you. Ask me this Sunday if you are interested to take the spiritual gift inventory survey.
By the way, Pastor Mike asked me to spearhead the All Church Picnic at the Park in September. The purpose for this fun gathering is to promote our various ministries,bible study groups, fellowships and activities during the Fall season. I am currently forming a committee to accomplish this project. Feel free to contact me if you or you know someone who may be interested to be on the committee. Currently, I am seeking volunteers to fill these positions: Park Coordinator, Registration Coordinator, Food Coordinator, Game Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator, and Set up/Clean up Coordinator.
